Autumn Smith is an American historian and museologist who focuses on the history of the United States, museums, public history, historic preservation, and development. Smith's academic expertise lies in African American history between 1860-1968 in the United States. Smith is passionate about preserving, presenting, and promoting the untold stories of African American history and culture. Smith's major projects are in Museum Exhibitions, Grant Writing, Historic Preservation, Research and Photography. One of her most recent projects include Emmy nominated documentary "(re)Defining History:Uncovering the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre"
